STARWAY Jingdezhen team celebrating the first anniversary.
In October 2026, Jingdezhen Xingtu Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (STARWAY Jingdezhen) marked its first anniversary. What began as an unfinished facility with a small team has developed into an operating manufacturing base with more than 50 local employees and seven production teams. The milestone reflects a year of building capabilities, improving execution and defining the facility’s role within STARWAY MFG GROUP.

A year ago, the site was still taking shape: infrastructure was incomplete, equipment had yet to arrive and only a handful of people were on board. Over the following twelve months, the team built out laser cutting, bending, stamping, welding, grinding, packaging and CNC machining operations.
The Jingdezhen workforce was recruited and developed locally rather than transferred as a ready-made team from another STARWAY location. Building practical skills, coordinating handoffs and establishing shared working methods have been as important as installing machinery. Together, the seven teams have established the main workflow from order intake through production to shipment.

The first year also revealed the operational challenges that come with launching a new factory. Production scheduling, materials coordination, inventory accuracy and shop-floor handoffs required attention. Rather than treating these as isolated issues, the team began strengthening how work is planned, recorded, checked and transferred between departments.
Recent improvement efforts have focused on work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), production scheduling approvals, quality inspection, finished-goods receipt and daily ERP checks. In a recent reporting period, 14 newly received orders followed the defined process checkpoints; daily checks across 16 ERP workflow points were reported as nearly complete, and a warehouse stocktake helped reconcile physical and system records.
These are meaningful steps toward greater process visibility, but they are not the end of the journey. Consistent batch manufacturing depends on maintaining accurate data and disciplined execution across every production cycle.

Production management at STARWAY Jingdezhen.
STARWAY operates through a “One Center + Two Bases” structure, with complementary responsibilities across its locations. Shanghai supports commercial coordination, engineering and quality management. Nantong focuses on flexible manufacturing, smaller batches and new-product validation. Jingdezhen is being developed as a base for more stable, higher-volume production and repeatable delivery.
This division of responsibilities is designed to help bridge the transition from early product development to ongoing OEM production. For international customers, that transition involves more than scaling quantities: engineering requirements, process documentation, inspection expectations and delivery coordination must remain aligned.
In its second year, STARWAY Jingdezhen plans to advance automation and manufacturing execution system (MES) deployment, with the longer-term aim of connecting shop-floor execution to the group’s ERP and PLM systems. These are planned improvements, not completed implementations.
The factory will also continue converting experienced operators’ knowledge into standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection criteria and structured training. Another priority is to investigate scrap and production abnormalities systematically, reduce repeated errors and improve process consistency.
The anniversary celebration brought colleagues together to recognize the effort involved in building the factory from the ground up. Long-serving employees and newer team members alike have contributed to establishing its manufacturing culture and daily operations.
For STARWAY, the anniversary is not a claim that every process is already mature. It is a checkpoint in a longer effort to develop a capable team, more reliable production systems and a stronger manufacturing foundation for global OEM customers.
From engineering review to manufacturing execution, STARWAY will continue developing the collaboration between its Shanghai, Nantong and Jingdezhen operations.
